[ WIP | SCR ] Lamborghini Murciélago Roadster

Hi everybody,

You guys know I was working on the Murielago Roadster TDU huh?
Well, I dont work on the car anymore because its stupid.
Everybody can edit the car w/o any permission because its not my car.
Like thats happen on my previous LP640.
Plus the axis have been fucked up and materials too.
TXD was too big, very unnecesary.
So I decided to make one by myself.
I know its takes time but its worth.
This car use less textures and I'll try to find good textures but yhats no problem.
I hope I'll finish it before its 2009.

Here a screen:

Polycount, 3059...

I dont know to make it tunable but there 'll not have paintjobs.
If anyknow who can teach me how to make it paintjobable, please tell it.
Otherwish quiet.
Any tips/suggestions are welcome.

EDIT, dont watch at the very low res blueprint verl
I cant find a good one.

Nice start on the project, and it's easy to make a paintjob template for it,when you're done with the car,you detach all the parts mapped with the bodymap texture, and you cut up the mesh, arrange it on a blank texture, printscreen it in the uv map window, and that will be your pj template, off course it's easier to do it in Max than in Zmod 2.

Thank you for your reply.
No, I cant use 3ds max because the pc have a very bad gfx card.
Or I must waith untill end of November to get a new notebook with 9600M GT.
But otherwish I'll send my mesh to someone who wants to make the pj smile

Thats bad news stopped the old one, but good news you start one from scratch! smile
Hope to see some progress smile

like I already said, I wanna finish this car before its 2009.
Yesterday I took a whole evening to make this stuff.
Highquality interior.
I want include some intercolors.
But of course you can make yor own leather textures smile

Screen comes later
Polycount doesnt matter, the importantes is the detail.

Hi everbody,
Thats a long time to post some updates.
Its takes me very much time to add details to anything.
Im now working on the discbrakes rotors.
Too painfull in my ass....22350 polies!! freak1
OMG! If I go ahead to add very good details the car comes
around 100k polies or 300k.
Im thinking about making new wheels rims.
Some screens of the disc:

I dont know about the release.
Or I dont or I do...

Geschrieben von Gnome am 27.10.2008 um 12:00:

You don't need the brakes...you only need the disc in GTA...because you have to attach the disc to the wheel.

Look...this is my disc. Low Poly großes Lachen .

Only 730 Polys lachen

Geschrieben von SilverRST640 am 27.10.2008 um 12:57:

Well, it looks good but it can be better freak1
This not just a low poly lambo Zunge raus
Because I am a ver lambolover I want make this perfect in the game.
Anything in 3d, especially words, buttons, rims, lambo logo
radio, radiobuttons and much more!
4 rims, each with 22.350 polies, 89,400 polies freak1
But yh, you know...

An update of the coloured brake:

730 vs 22.350 tongue11

Geschrieben von Gnome am 27.10.2008 um 13:26:

Yes...your one looks hotter then my one...but my one is for a Game. And your's more for rendering. It's not for a game...A Car with over 300.000 Polys for San Andreas? I don't want this car lachen ...sorry.

Geschrieben von SilverRST640 am 27.10.2008 um 13:29:

I didnt say it goes over 300.000, I say maybe its can if I add high details.
But, there are some cars about 250.000, 300.000 and more than 600k polies.
So whats the matter? tongue11
I'll try to reduce them.

Geschrieben von Threepwood am 27.10.2008 um 13:34:

Even for me 300k is too much. Stick around 150k - could be fine, I have a few such poly bomber (e.g. my own Murci + Murci Roadster Zunge raus ) around more or less. My game can handle up to 8mb vehicles, no prob (atm have 2 installed in a full modded gta). What will a 300k one have? 12mb?

Make less detail where it is not needed. Make a render model, and please make a game model, that differs much! As Gnome said, you don't need the brakes, they would spin around if mounted on the disk or stick through the rims when mounted on the chassis. Both options do not look good, in special for a lambo lover, I guess. I know what you are talking about, the Ferr. F40 I made some days ago has 5.xx mb and 130k and STILL is much to big and detailled - and there is nothing I could cut to make it less without loosing the best look - and I have lost a lot for game options. But its worth it, because I can play it.

Geschrieben von tobie36 am 27.10.2008 um 13:51:

I totally agree with you, Threepwood. Make less detail where it is not needed... Augenzwinkern

By the way, I made the thread name nicer... tongue11 freak1

For god sake, look at this car before you guys talk 300k is freaking heavy.

500.000 polies and the dff 32 mb...
For that stupid ugly little bitchar lachen
My ass and stomach got exploded when I had pain in my ass because
of laughing

I forgot to post pics of the interior.
Better than the one TDU or raped EA meshes yahoo

@tobie, who s that hot chick in ya avatar? tongue11

Geschrieben von Threepwood am 27.10.2008 um 14:08:

It is not freaking heavys, and it is not ruining the game per default - but if you have more than one mod you'll see what happens.

However - do as you wish, its your mod, and this are just suggestions. I do the same, noone is forced to d/l anything if it doesn't fit. But some compromises have to be done, to have a good looking ingame and some customers out there. Like the brake, who wants it when it sticks in the rim always? You do a good or even great job, it looks fantastic! It's just a bit of a overdose großes Lachen

@GTA_XP: Taylor Swift. I've downloaded the Fiat, because I want to see how the game handle with it... freak1

And...what happened? freak1
I wanna know that maybe I can try to make it under 120k

Geschrieben von xsb91 am 27.10.2008 um 21:57:

No offense, man, but 23K polies for a brake is.. nonsense! I made a similar brake disc of 2000 polies. Besides that, the stuff looks cool, but you can delete the caliper as you have it, you cant use it properly in the game.. either it spins with the wheel,or it wont rotate in turns.

Geschrieben von SilverRST640 am 28.10.2008 um 15:33:

yh, i have to see first befor i dlete the brake.
Cars with brakes in the game looks better and great than
only having the disc.
Well, that more than 500/600k polies sh*tfiatcar is nonense!

One stupid question, does the game run very smooth when the car
is 300k on GF 9600M GT 512MB, up to 1791 MB
Im always planning that gfx for GTA IV.
But its f***ing too long to wait!

Geschrieben von Threepwood am 28.10.2008 um 15:50:

For the brake: waht exactly do you want to see? D/L any car on GWM with brakes, you will immediately notice. But just think of following: the brake is attached to the chassis -> no movement! The wheel turns when you turn, the brake will stay at its place -> it sticks through the rim. Easy as that. If you attach the brake to the wheel .. it will rotate with the wheel.

I really wonder what you want to see first? If we say truth?

Geschrieben von SilverRST640 am 28.10.2008 um 16:10:

yh yh yeahh a'ight I delete the brakes...............................-.-"

RE: [ WIP | SCR ] Lamborghini Murciélago Roadster

The car is still alive? freak1
Yes!
But too, failed to finish the deadline.
I was supposed myself to finish it before 2009.
But no.

At least the car got an extremely improvements and its getting nicer.
The radio buttons will glow at night, the 3d gauge meters will glow at night too.
No stupid alpha textures anymore, the most of the chassis percentage is 3d.
Ill get 2 versions, Roadster and Coupé editions.
Sounds like same but some thing are differents.
The car will be tuneable with wheels, nitro's, colours and hydraulic and spoilers.
But first, I have to finish it fast as possible befor the car get f*cked up and more f*cked up by
zmodeler with his mapping information issues.
I add some pics and you can see what I mean.

Less envoirennents used.
The is interior is done, the chassis is done, the lights are fixed.
Now I have to fix materials and speculair highlight.
And making scissors.

Thanks to JKM for his permissions for the underbody and V12 engine.

Btw, Im converting a SabreGT.
Made the wheel more nicer.

Dont look at the wheels.
